HASHEM ASSADULLAHI

BIO

Hashem Assadullahi is a saxophonist, bandleader, composer and music educator in New York City. Hashem regularly performs music ranging from the big band repertoire of the swing era, to straight-ahead styles, to the avant garde. Hashem is also a prolific composer, working with podcast studios, dramatic arts organizations, and his own ensembles. 

Hashem received his Bachelors of Music Education from the University of Texas in Arlington and a Masters of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of Oregon.
